How to remove glove compartment?

How to remove glove compartment?

Is it just me or am i just stupid... I see a notch on the left hand side but i don't know how to pop it off without breaking the thing. I'm trying to replace the air filter but i'm having trouble removing the glove compartment please help! thanks!

slide is to the right and the clip pops off... this has to be the easist thing in this install... OMG....

if u cant do the glob box u should be touching a car... sorry its the truth

Pull the tab on the back/top/left of the glovebox when you open it. Its the part that catches to stop it from opening all the way.

Dude, don't sweat it. Before the box is completely open pull the rubber stopper on the left side. This should slide out. You should then be able to drop the box and pull it out of its spot after you clear in bottom swing pins. The box itself is flexible, so don't be afraid if you need to use some muscle. I don't think that you can break it.

Thanks. I saw that peice i just didn't know how to get it out and didn't want to break it. Will give it a try tomorrow

You are going to be taking that thing out a lot of times if you are like me (all mod happy).
It doesn't hurt to ask bud, but this topic was covered when the forums first came to existence. Search a little and you will find. Happy modding.

your air filter isn't in the glove box....you definately dont wanna be working on your car
