Dental floss or thin nylon kite string will do it without damage. If it is warmer then the adhesive seems to separate a little easier.

dental floss is too fragile
trust me
just be patient with the butter knife
its thick tape and just do it slowly
took me 30 minutes max

ur best bet is to either let a professional do it... or wit a blowdryer and thin dental floss... the blowdryer wont mess up the paint not hot enough...

Id stick with the floss, you cant accidently "slip" and toast your truck. I would also try using a lil heat too, dont cook it, just warm the glue up a bit. work the floss back and forth and be patient with it.
