Where should I put my front plate?

I've had my car for a little over a year now, have never had a plate on the front but I'm just sick of gettng pulled over for it now. Just wondering where guys are putting them and looking for some suggestions. I know obviously having them install the bracket is one option, I just don't really like that option, was wondering about fastening it to the grill (screen whatever you wanna call it) Just lookin for ideas, thanks.

I would just get the factory bracket and hardware from Mitsu. If you mount it on the screen it will block air to the interecooler I am pretty sure.

Mine is under my seat! I hate that damn front plate.. Funny thing is my car is reg in Jersey and I had it inspected with it not on and they never noticed and passed me.. I used to get pulled over no matter what clever spot i put it,, Behind the mesh in the bumper, both bottom drivers side behind the bumper, and top drivers side of the grill.. If its not in plain view youll get pulled over.. I liked mine!! cops didnt!!

Magnets are your friend. BTW this setup has been tested by a buddy on a local track @ over 120mph. No problems!!! Plus, it's removable!

I haven't had a front plate since I've been 16. 8 years later and I've never had a problem. I'd rather pay a ticket then destroy the look of a great looking front end.

+1

I would totally go for the magnets like XK120. Then you can remove it whenever you want if you want your front-end to be flawlessly plate-less.

I would look into mounting L brackets from Lowes or Home Depot under the lip and use the bottom holes

bump for reply on where you get those magnets. I saw one on ebay for $44, but that thing was HUGE. Not sure if you need all 250 lbs tho....
