i was wondering how many people, put their front lic plate on with bracket i hate those but in IL, is required and i've been pulled over few times....in my previous dsm

no cant stand the plate so i didnt even put it on when i got the car, here in jersey you would get a ticket but hey I just got into a fender bender, I havnt gotten the new bracket yet. wink wink officer

 

I need to take the plate out and just fill in the holes - that way I can use that excuse... "doesn't have a spot, officer"

 

I took the bracket off and used heavy duty velcro. Cops around here are real picky about having plate on, also tinted windows and loud exhaust.

 

Started without it on the front, but the cops have been getting more **** about stuff like that recently, I'll probly move it off center though.

 

yep, loud exhaust, tinted windows, no seatbelts. and front lic. plate.
(now they did SEAT BELT CHECK POINT) they just sit on the side of the road and pulling cars over, cousing treffic... ahhh

 

tweak i have mine on. dont wanna bother stoppin for cops for stupid reasons. besides, schaumburg/Hoffman/barrington cops are racist ******

 

No front license plate required in Arizona. Big bonus, cuz that bracket does look rather gaudy

im in california and i dont have the front license plate either. i think its ugly. i havent been stopped yet. actually one of my friends got pulled over recently for this exact thing and my friend said he had a custom from license frame and someone stole it. the cop offered to recover the frame (which is none existent) and gave him no ticket. so if u ever get caught, just use that excuse.

I don't have mine on and no problems with the police (I live in racist Hoffman Estates too where there are no minority police officers!) over my missing front plate. I keep it in my trunk for safe keeping.

Oh I have a story for you guys, but I'm going to put it in another thread...

 

I took mine off last month, no probs yet but I used to get pulled over all the time in my camaro for it

 

i didnt know a whole police force was racist just because they dont have too many minority officers. maybe minorities dont want to work there so they dont apply.
