Wanted: A-pillar boost gauge how to

The couple boost gauge howtos on the sticky list are all steering column installs. I'd like to install mine on the A-pillar. Anyone have tips on how to get the tubing into the engine compartment and how to wire it up?

If you pop your stock A pillar off you will see that just past the tweeter there is an enterence that will lead down underneath the steering wheel. Make sure that you use zip ties so that the cord doesnt ever catch on your clutch, brake, etc. Basically you have to run it from here behind the radio and through the glove compartment. In the back of the glove compartment there's a small rubber piece which you can pop off and get threw to the firewall. I'd recomend this since you don't have to drill a new hole. It's much easier with electric gauges such as Defi's. You may find it easier to remove the rubber piece completely rather than drill through it.

see this thread and you should have no problems on the install, just stretch the cord up through the A Pillar when you get to that point.
