I started looking at my idea of making the rear shorter, with the bumber about 4" away from the rear tire.
this will involve cutting everything back, and the trunk lid will probably only be about 4-6" deep.

what do you guys think about this project?

I saw the Norris EVO, my idea is only the trunk part.

forget about it, I spoke to my body shop friend and he said NO.

 

Where did you plan on shortening?? Just off the back? and keep the same wheelbase?

 

Are you planning 0n adding a lift & doing some 4-wheeling. I've bobbed plenty of jeeps but this is the first I've heard of anybody doing it to an evo. I dont think that the chassis has the structure to do this without extensive modification......possibly a tube chassis.

 

why on gods earth would you want to do that...
