I've read all of the threads about modifiying the license plate bracket to fit the jdm bumper, but is there any other way to make it fit without removing the bracket from the arms? im planning on installing the bumper today...and was wondering if i would be able to just bend the whole thing in to place without taking anything apart.

Well that is what you are supposed to do, you bend the arms so that it is flush with the bumper rather than protruding. Then you drill new holes for the license plate on the arms themselves.

 

on the arms themselves??? or do i still mount the plate on the bracket that holds the lights? im just super confused with the pics from the tutorial in the how/to...
