Greetings,

I am having trouble to remove the black stain/residue caused by exhaust (Greddy TI) on the rear bumper.

Any tips or ideas?

Thank you in advance.

simple green my man.

mix 2:1 and let it soak for a hot minute, then rinse, may require a little elbow grease.

I don't really understand you. Sorry if I am a newbie or something, it's better to clear things up so that the problem would be solved right away without creating another problem.

Okay, thinking the same for clay bar too.

Thank you for the responds.

take this :

mix 2 parts water to every 1 part concentrate.

now scrub with a towel and or soft sponge and you may or may not want to let it sit (soak) for more than a minute.

now rinse off the bumper.

this works well. but if you know how to clay bar that is an even better option. sorry for the confusion.

For future reference, you can also use wax. I use it all the time and it cleans it up nicely....minimal effort too....

All you need is clay bar, that stuff comes off like dust with it. I actually use the Ice liquid clay, and even that stuff works good on it.

Haha, are you reading the thread or just trying to give your opinion?

I used clay bar today, it worked perfectly. Thank you for the advice again, but the other guy already told me to use clay bar so I did.

I am serious....use car wax and it comes right off.......you also put on a little protective wax barrier making it easier next time you have to clean it.
