paint VIII tail light lens red
can it be done like the black-out? Instead of painting over the chrome, you spray clear red on the inside of the clear plastic?
Basically wanna mod it to look like vii tails, just with the clear turn signals.

^ +1. Am I the only one who thinks that paying a couple hundred $$ for VII tails is a little ridiculous?
Get some wet sand paper some clear paint and call ti a day!

this looks really good. A little darker than VII's... but worlds better than the altezza style. Also, the turn signals look a little pink. Maybe the color settings on the camera was screwy?

ah I see what happened... you taped up the turn signals so when you sprayed you got the little red lines in there like the true JDM tails.
Personally I prefer full white turn signals... not pink :P

What about this stuff? This looks like it might work nice. PLus if you screw up, you dont need to buy new tail lights.
