I used the krylon plastic rattle can for my headlights and it has been fine. No chips or anything from the heat or anything else. As long as it is prepped properly you should be fine

Use Krylon Fusion, you don't have to sand or primer! just spray!

 

I dont trust myself doing the tails, anyone know how much EVODAVE charges?

Krylon for plastic will mess your headlights up...the coats will look even but once light is behind it it sprays really blocthy...Nite Shades and then have them pro cleared or go to stickercity and buy the stick on kit!!!

 

Krylon fusion will be perfectly fine on your chrome housing.

 

I used the Krylon semi gloss. It worked great.

 

you can spray paint them but they also sell smoke out clear plastic that sticks onto your taillights and such....

 

My tails (JDM Replicas) cost me $200 shipped and fully insured from Evodave. May seem a little pricey but you cannot beat the quality of his work. He also stands by his work so if you have any issues he will help you out! And in the end its still a hell of a lot less expensive then the real JDM ones.

 

The reason I posted this was because I have the stock evo 8 tails (chrome) and a shop near by will do evo 7 replica tails for $80 or evo 9 replicas for $100. What should I do? I drive a Apex Silver VIII.
