Rack and pinion install

So i hit a curb.. fix my rear suspension where it took the blow and while test driving my car I lose my power steering. Steering wheel spins while turning it and wheels dont move. The boot of the left front rack and pinion sytem seems disconnected. How do I remove, diagnose, and replace? Any write up with diagrams would be awesome

Thx!

first try to put the boot back in place and strap it down. make sure you have fluid in the steering system. turn the wheel again if nothing still happens you need a rack. racks suck to remove and replace. if you dont have a rack then you wont be able to do it yourself. i have done a few racks myself and if you have a lift it will take a few hours to the better part of the day to do one.
