Cusco oil catch can install pics

First of all... i strongly suggest that you buy the one Cusco made
for EVO...

Since the look like this..

Of course.. having cusco strut bar helps.. as you'll see in my
install pics...

I had to make the generic 9mm version to fit...

More pics

You'll have to remove the strut bar and battery to complete the
install...
(Torque spec for bolts on the strut bar is ~37 ft lbs..)

So did you get a different model for universal mount? It looks like the one pic with the Cusco strut bar uses a different mounting bracket that appears to fit a little more low-profile against the firewall?

Price, source ?

Yes the brackets are different.... I bought the generic 9mm version
which I had to bend the brackets to fit what I need....

The first two pictures shows the can and the brackets that came
with the one specifically made for EVO...

It cost around $100 for me... I think forum vendors are selling at
similar prices...

I'm still not very satisfied on the place where it mounts now...
I might get a light weight battery.. and just have the oil catch
sit inside the original battery bracket and zip tie to the new
battery.... it was so frustrating trying to find space under the
hood...

But you still had to drill a hole to mount it right?
