help with ETS 3.5 fmic on evo8
running no mesh on the evo9 definitely looks better than running no mesh on the evo8 since the core fills the entire opening of the 9 front bumper. my personal opinion of course.
I think that gives the car a much more aggressive look, but it wasn't worth the extra $400 I would have had to spend. Not to me atleast, a broke college student.
ok so i took out the bottom mesh completely and i was able to get the bumper back in in 10 minutes. it's definitely that corner(s) cuz i jacked the car up and looked underneath. i need about an inch of clearance in order to install the bumper with the mesh. o well.
lol thanks guys. i'll run it without the grill for a while but i know i will end up putting it back on mainly because i'm worried about something on the road possibly hitting it.
no............ had mine for 3yrs installed with no grill. but switched over to apr evo 9. and has no grill... still looks good got a few spots, but for the most part its dirty
(Dont worry about upper bracket, bent for intercooler pipe.)

hi. i recently purchased a ETS fmic 3.5" for my evo8. i installed it tonite and everything went well for the most part. however, when i tried to put the front bumper cover on, i had a very difficult time. it won't slide on properly.
it looks like the metal mounting hole plates at the corners of the middle mesh are rubbing against the endtanks. i don't recall anyone mentioning the need to trim or do anything special. does anyone know if i'm doing anything wrong?? it's really annoying cuz now my endtanks are scratched up...
thanks a lot guys.
