sorry i have not done a search or looked in my manual..can you pop those suckers off (side markers) and switch a plasma type bulb inside?
also the rear bumper red lights, does anyone make a clear lens yet?

 

I assume you are talking about the side markers in the fenders between the front wheel wells and front doors. If so your manual shows you how to do this but ill tell you also. Ive done this on my 2002 OZ. What you need to do is get a flat head screw driver and wrap the end in a towel so you dont scratch the paint. Now slide this between the light and fender at the very back of the light(side closest to the door). Next push the screwdriver towards the front of the car and gently pry out. The purpose of the screw driver is because the light is held in by a tab on the front of the light and a compresion style tab on the back of it! Thats all just take your time and be careful so as to not scratch the paint or dent the panel.

 

i could have sworn it was the front end of the fender and not door.

Any pics with the plasmas? I took mine out, seperated the lense from the housing and painted the housing body color. This makes them much less eye catching. I'll post pics soon.

 

I'm also interested in switching out the rear "Red" side marker lights to a clear lens. Do you guys know of anyone who sells one.
