Got a ride in AMS's EVO. It Rocks! Went to AMS to enquire about a turbo back exhaust. I was concerned about the sound level and fit/finish of there exhaust. Kris said he had a EVO with the cat back on it so I could listen to it first hand .By the time I got there the customer already picked his car up. Kris told me that the silver AMS test car was hear and we could fire it up and listen to it. We did and the sound was modarete considering it was a 11second car. While it was warming up Marten came out and offered me a ride, how could I say no. The car Idled and ran like stock until he spooled it up. The car pulled like a RAPED Ape! After talking a few power runs and I mean POWER RUNS.we went back to the shop. I crawled under the car and the fit/finish looked great so I bought the exhaust. The exahaust bolted up with out a single problem in about 1.5 hrs on jack stands on the garage floor. It used the stock mounting brackets and the down pipe fit like a glove with no interferance or rubbing of any kind.The flanges that bolt the system together are of the highest quality. You can tell that a lot of time went into makeing this sytem. AMS is a no bull**** bunch that tell you how it is, not blowing smoke up your *** on the HP numbers. After haveing the system for a week the car is much faster and spools a lot quicker,sound level inside car is good, gas mileage improved. So if anyone is looking for a perfect fitting great sounding exhaust I recommend the AMS system. for my money QUALITY IS NOT EXPENSIVE IT'S PRICELESS.
