Hey everyone,

Trying to install the sunglasses / interior light into the Evo IX as mine didn't come with one. I'm told I hve to mod the plug, although I can't find anything about how to do this anywhere.

Help please

 

I did this installation on my car, and I don't remember modding any plug, I did have to cut the headliner ( obviously) and that was a tricky job, but the light/sun glass holder itself was p&p.

 

Oh weird. The guy I'm buying it off says he is selling it brand new as he realised he needed to mod the plug to make it fit

 

Did one recently and the only mod needed is to cut the head liner!It's an easy mod just measure holder and make a stencil then use a new razor to cut liner! Everything bolts and plug together!
