installed fuel pump and wont turn over
i replaced my fuel pump and i cant get my car to turn over. when i pulled the pump out of the housing i pulled the black and blue wire out of the clip it goes into. i think i might of mixed them up but i pulled the pump twice and switched the wires both ways and still wont start. maybe im not cranking it long enough? i cant hear the pump either (its a DeatschWerks 300)

I had the same problem with the dw300. You have to prime it. They put up a vid here. I'll see if I can find it.

Try starting the car with the gas cap off. Believe it or not this actually worked for me when I installed my treadstone 342. It saved me from manually priming the pump with wires directly to the battery. For the record, you can also prime from your fuel pump relay.

thanks ill try that but also my gas is kinda low its like right before the gas light turns on. could it just be that the gas level is to low for the pump to suck up anything?
