I have a DEFI d boost gauge. It sits at 1 psi when the car is off. I contatced EDO performance and said their was a bad batch that went out. I had a place install it for me. Now i have to remove it and send it back. my question is do i just take it out of the mounting cup, Disconnect the vacumm line and cut the two wires. Will this cause any problems since the vacumm line will be running to nothing if i remove the boost gauge?

 

Yes, you will need to cap the vacuum line (preferably at the source).
