Low boost and load values
Wastegate is loose and open! How can I fix it?
Finally got around to taking the turbo out. Quite the job. Anyway I got it out and ran tests on the actuator. Trick is wastegate is loose, wiggly and always partially open, you can see right past it. Then sure enough when I pump pressure into the actuator it fully opens. Do you guys think I can replace or re-tension the wastegate to get it to remain closed when not at pressure. Or should I just add an external wastegate?
Annoying part that heat shield on the hot side of the turbo is like welded on. I think I'm going to pry/chisel it off and try and replace the bolts that are all sheared or missing.

pried/ ground/ drilled the heat shield off. adjusted waste gate actuator preload so it is held closed while not over boosting. I plan to put it all back together with a new heat shield so I can keep adjusting the WGA. Will update after I get it all back together
