Water temperature sensor?

Hey guys -

For those of you who have hooked up a water temperature sensor (e.g. Defi) - where did you tap? Did you need to weld?

Can GReddy's radiator hose temp gauge adapter be used? (what size)

You can tee off the stock location with an adapter fitting for a much cleaner look. No need to cut hoses or use bulky adapters. The factory sensor is right underneath the top hose at the thermostat water neck outlet.

errr... can you just read the temp value from the ECU? Why the extra sensor/adaptor?

darn it..I ordred one from prostreet and its 36mm ...so its 32mm for sure??
See what happen was that I ordered one from prostreet about a week ago and they said they dont have it stock so it'd take about 2 days to get it..so I waited and wait..and I called them yesterday and the guy who works there told me they ordered one from greddy but its not there yet.. so this morning I called Greddy see if they got one and boom! the guy at the greddy told me its back ordered till early next year and the guy said he does not even recognized the prostreet vendor cause they do any deals with them...
arrggg....what a pain in the ***..
