So I just bought an evo 8 from a friend but I notice on the wide and I usually cruise around town Around 14-16 Air/fuel, once I start pushing on the gas to actually gain speed it goes down to 11-10. Which is perfect. Is running leaner like this normal? U have a set of 1600 injectors ( I know they are huge ) but could I use these to help with being lean? Maybe it's my injectors. Has a brand new walbro 255lph

 

Your cruise afrs sound fine. Could probably stand to dial in your trims a bit, but as long as your not experiencing issues don't worry. If anything your tip in sounds like it's a bit rich. Check your plugs periodically to see if they're fouling faster than normal and go from there.
