could you please tell me what is the best engine oil to use for a high mileage evo 7(2001)
mods on the car : evo 9 turbo, evo 9 crankshaft ,and evo 9 pistons , 3 inch turboback exhaust , cams .
people keep telling me that (10w60 and 5w30 fully synthetic) is the best oil to use in this scenario

 

I use 5w-30, 10w-30 works too. 10w-60 maybe for a built engine with different tolerances. The Factory service manual calls for 10w-30. As for what brand, use what ever full synthetic you can afford to change every 3000 miles and have easy access to. A proper oil change interval is the single most important thing when it comes to oil. Avoid any "Racing" oils, they do not have the detergent packages necessary for a street driven car.
