Make your own oil catch!

Constructed this a while back this summer. Gets the job done. Cost about $10 depending on whether you have a little breather filter already or not. $5 for a crappy little APC breather, $1.50 to $3 for the cheapest inline fuel filter you can find, go to NAPA and ask for the cheapest one they have, and about another dollar or two for some decent vacum or fuel line that is the appropriate size.

and up to the breather using the remaining 3 inches or so, just whatever looks right for you but these are pretty much the lengths I used. I just zip tied my breather filter to some nearby loom.

Very nicely done! I was talking to one of our Evo rally mechanics down here and he too was remarking on the ingenious mods you American Evo owners are up to...

because most oil catch cans are based on a recirculating system of sorts, I have no need for this myself because I run the Buschur Racing mas pipe and that nipple found on the stock pipe has been deleted. yeah the "breather" that I mentioned is just that little air filter. I modeled my assembly after the Road Race Engineering Crank Case Breather / Catch Can here.

Thank you dude, coming from you that means a lot too. You always post good stuff. The funny thing is is that this idea came to me during one of my top 5 hang overs ever =

I cant get the "how nice a Mivec would look under my hood" thought out of my head during drinking/hangover. Thats basically means Im thinking about how slow my car is during every beer, lol.

I feel that, check the times of most of my posts and you will think I'm some breed of Nosveratu. Dude Tristar Racing I must say that I quote your sig in conversation about 2 times a week, or at least any time I get into the domestic vs. import conversation
