I would suggest a catch can over the fuel filter, when it gets saturated with oil, it will no longer easily pass air through it.. There are easy "home made" catch cans you can create for the task. The breather filter alone, with a section of hose and the filter slightly higher than the valve cover will work just as well since the oil will drain back into the engine and only "oil mist" and other vapors will make it out the APC Filter.. If you just put the filter on the nipple of the valve cover, the oil will just dribble out onto the engine.. Even a simple loop of hose with a breather filter on the end will trap the oil, but you eventually would have to unloop it and clean it.

It looks SWEET though and will work until the filter gets really dirty.. which is a good reason to change it regularly anyway..

Since I loved your idea so much, but found it had a little "bug" I revised it so it will work as a recirculating system with little or no restriction.

Man, you guys suck at ghetto!! You should look at some of the DSM catch can systems. Nothing like using a 16oz coke bottle for a catch can!!

Guys do not use my method, both Smogrunner and I have had instances of our dipsticks popping out due crankcase pressure inconsistancies created from this design. I would suggest MalibuJack's method, I appologize for the defect the design.
