Clutch release cylindar push rod

I have a longer pushrod, i am wondering, is it as simple as it seems, do i just push out the old push road and put the new one in the rubber piece off of the clutch release?

Why bother, it's a waste of time. The hydraulics compensate for the extra length just like they do when the disc wears a little, so the result is zilch. Sorry to rain on your parade.
