I am going to be installing a Ultimate Racing test pipe this weekend and as I understand it, the O2 sensor wires have the be extended to relocate the sensor.

Does anyone have pics/photos of the O2 sensor? How many wires are going to have to be cut and soldered to extend the wiring? What's the best way to do this and then protect the soldering from outside elements? Shrink wrap over the soldered wires? How should I secure the wiring safely?

Btw, I prefer not to use the posted process of pulling out the seat so that the O2 sensor wiring does not have to be spliced.

I believe there are 4 wires. Just keep track of which one goes where after you cut them. I soldered them and shrink wrapped them.
