Help!, Walbro 255lph fuel pump install
Hello,
Im just having a shop install my fuel pump, walbro 255lph #gss-342, and the tech called me and said the inlet and outlets are on different ends that they need to be on. I called the place where i purchased the pump and they said it was the correct part number.
So is there any trick to installing this, or did I get a mystery pump?
Any quick helpful advise would be GREAT!!!
Thanks.

Make sure it is a 342. A 341 looks exactly the same but the lower port does not lay on the same axis as the top port. I know this from experience. The part number is stamp on the pump itself.

I did mine yesterday - took me 20 minutes. The trick is to remove all the hoses from the barbs and rotate the ring around about half a turn. Remove the whole assembly from the passenger side of the car by turning it anti-clockwise.
