Question Best method of removing fallout?

Ive noticed alot of fallout or topical rust spots all over my paint. I was wondering what the best method for removing this stuff is. Ive heard of using clay.Ive also heard of using polishing compound with a buffer but im too scared i would burn through my paint since ive never used it before. Any suggestions would be really appreciated.

Thanks

F.B.

Clay bar. there are 3 different ones of varying intensity. make sure you get a strong one. see if a "make ready" dept of a nearby dealership has some extra lying around. auto stores only sell the weak stuff.
