Also note that the EIDS is the last thing in chain of wiring if you have a fuel computer -(Japanese instruction).
i also installed it just like up there... and i also cant rev past 4.5 k rpm... why is that?... i got a dual horn vta bov. can someone tell me what i can do to fix this problem?... i would really appreciate it..

i have a question they say the eids is the last thing to go in the wiring chain if you have a fuel comp. which side is the last the side closest to the ecu or the sensor? and does the white go closest to the ecu or the yellow. i put my eids after the afcII closer to the ecu and the yellow wire going to the ecu and the white goin to the sensor. now when my car is cold it idles bad till it warms up then it still does the drop when i let go of the gas coming to a stop not as bad as before. and what is that little screw on the back do help please
sorry if you already answered this thanks guys

My Car RUNS PERFECT man.... You might have something hooked up wrong. I used what Co EVO did and it works perfect. No stall maybe a little bog here and there but i havent tuned the EIDS yet anyways

I highly doubt that this will work with the UTEC. The whole idea around the EIDS is that it alters the MAF signal to the ECU to 'fool' the ECU in thinking that there correct air flow/volume is being achieved when the DV is venting.
If you were to place this inline with the UTEC, the UTEC will be getting false readings and making further changes to what the ECU sees. Basically MAF--->EIDS---->UTEC----->ECU. This could lead to a lean condition, as the EIDS is just 'fooling' the ECU into thinking that there is less air, so less fuel is in order.
The other route of switching places with the EIDS and the UTEC may work, but you then will alter the reverse signal from the ECU to the UTEC. For your stalling issue, just mechanically up the revs on idle, and adjust the fuel trims accoringly. There is a lengthy post in the UTEC sub-forum. Just my .02

I really want to run a Tial BOV which has no option of rerouting so my question is this. OTHER than idle... how will the car run, because that can be fixed with the EIDS! But what about inbetween shifts and such?
