Installed helix test pipe, need help!

I just installed the helix test pipe with mechanical fix. I know i didnt cross wires, cause i cut them 1 by 1 and reroute them. About 140 miles later, SES light comes on, what could be the problem? Oh by the way, I have a full turbo back exhaust, will be posting a sound/video clip, it sounds AMAZING!

has your car stalled yet? if it does you blew a 20 fuse and your wires touched the xhaust. had to make a bracket so that wouldn't happen again

Get the perrin fix. You instakk it inside the cabin and it has a light telling you if it is working. And with a mechanical fix there should be no wire cutting. I dunno if I am missing something i am not familiar with the helix cat pipe

Ben

(edit)N.M the wire extensions right? i just thought about that. get a ohm meter and check you connections and make sure they are good.

Have you gotten the code read or are you just assuming it is from the Helix pipe?

How did you extended the wires to the new location? Did you solder or crimp? My guess is that one of the rerouted wires have become loose and lost connectivity to the other end.

I have a UR test pipe which has a really similar setup. I soldered the wires one by one, electrical taped them up individually, and then taped them up all together. Make sure you didn't bend the wires up too much as well when you relocate the O2 sensor since the bung is at a different direction.

hum.. i had the same problem, i installed my helix test pipe along with the helix dp, and the apex n1 catback. I didnt recieve any codes for about 175 miles, then just today i got the code twice already, and cleared it twice (p0138), any ideas as to why this might be happening, electrical connection is sound, so i dont think thats it..??!

i just bought the test pipe today and reading this is like a horror story. i thought the mechanical fix was a sure thing then i found out you need to extend the o2 sensor which i thought was no biggie but it seems like everyone is getting codes. has anyone had good experiences with this test pipe???
