Oil change
The oil probably never completely drains out, which would explain overfilling if you put back in 4.75 qts.
I have a question, when installing the crush washer, which side does the side with the "seam" go? Does it matter?

According to the instructions the side with the seam goes to the oil pan.

I was going to ask a similar question.I know people say to go buy one because they're cheap.$3 per washer at Don Herring in Plano ,Texas.I believe thats what they charged me.That's not really cheap.I remember some people saying the washer came with the filter.I was wondering how long they last.I seem to think they last about two oil changes.

Normally it only takes ~4-4.5 quarts for me. I just dump in ~4 quarts, check it, then add as necessary. A little overfilling won't hurt, especially if you do a lot of high-g cornering. A lot of overfilling can blow seals.
thanks! could somebody just post a pics of the oil drain? also I know this is really newb question but could somebody also tell me the best places to place the jack and jack stands? thanks
