i need to install a stock evo battery back on my 03 evo 8. i have been running with the ams mini battery. so i just wanted to know the easiest way to uninstall the ams mini battery and then install the new stock battery with the stock tray? is it dificult and how much time do you expect it to take? just a nice write up step by step would be great.

well on the stock tray, there are 4 i belive 12mm bolts, two under the battery, and two towards the driver side wall next to the motor mount.

once tahts screwed in, lay down the battery and use the bracket to tie that in....it takes 2 minutes at most to put in.....i'm assumin the mini battery should be the same way to remove, locate the bolts and remove...

 

Sorry to bring this back, but does anyone know if the IX tray is the same as the VIII tray? Thanks

I think I had to remove my UICP to get the stock tray out.
