I don't mean to defend dealerships that actually take advantage of people, but maybe the hundred dollars you're referring to is the first (5k) scheduled service. If you look in your manual, they should do more than just an oil change.

Man, just learn how to do an oil change yourself, it's the easiest thing to do on your evo, everything else let others do it.

Yeah. I took mine to get the first oil change, thinking it would be the best to go to the dealership. Big mistake. They took like an hour, charged me $80, but the worst was that they forgot to put back the oil cap and when i got home (about a 30 min drive) i open my hood and there is oil all over the engine. I was really mad, so i called up the dealership and complained about it. I was able to get my engine steamed cleaned and my next oil change for free. Im never going back to the dealership, unless its a warranty issue. Its a rip-off.

Are you kidding me? The filter is in a filter bowl, and thats in the front of the engine bay,you don't even have to get under the car to change the filter. The thing that takes the longest is removing the factory undertray, and draining the oil. I'm thinking about just leaving the undertray off and then it would take all of 10 minutes to change the oil.
