I unbolted the alternator all the way.. and just need to know how to get it out? You can't feed it through the top because there is not enough room.. and everything is in the way on the bottom.

Please help.. I really need to get this out because it is fried and need to replaced ASAP

thank You!!!!!

From the shop manual. Have fun.

<<C>> GENERATOR REMOVAL
Raise the engine with a floor jack and remove the generator
upward from the engine room.

I don't "mean" anything that's right out of the manual.

i assure as i have done this before it is much easier to remove the passenger wheel and hub assembly half shaft and take it out that way. check your fuse on the battery terminal first and make sure it is the alt.

you can take it out from under the intake manifold, under the throttle body and thru where the battery sits.

You sure dont have to do all that. Ive done this job i can do it in a 1/2 hour now.

The easy way to take out once everything is unbolted is to take out dipstick, take off the fuel rail just lift and set to the side. And it sould come right out.

Dont pm me how to do it im sick of telling people how to take it out.

I was able to take it out through the bottom behind the crossmember with the downpipe removed.

I have a 03 though so I do not have the ACD which may make a difference

The worse job ever is removing the power-steering pump mated to a Turbocharged 350 crammed inside a 94 s-10 !! Trust me on that one.
(well reguarding small engine accessories, nothing is worse than engine removal)
