how do i remove the current side markers to install new ones?

 

Pry them off and put on new ones.They just snap in.

 

i used dental floss and slid it behind to push the tap in, and then it popped out. they are not very tight so even a then cloth will work.

 

thanks..i just took them off and the right one came off easy...and had a clip to install..i went to take the left one off and it seems that the first owner lost or broke the clip..and he just stripped and had the wires touching..now my left turn signal wont turn on..what do i do?

edit: now turn signals and hazard lights dont turn on??? what happened?

 

Yeah just pry them off with while you push from the back to front. Unfortunately, I had to learn the setup the hard way while i was scrubbing away at my car with an extension type scrubber, i plunged it and wedged the scrubber in between the side marker and the panel. Then suddenly, my side marker came out. sucked badd but now i know. good luck

 

I don't if I like the word pry? Sounds like you could end up breaking it if you don't know what your doing. Just push it forward and pull it out.
