Clock went dead - what to check?

Hello,

all of a sudden the clock stopped working. It simply doesn't light up. Everything else works ok, radio, power windows, door locks, inside light, lighter etc. Is there a fuse controlling JUST the clock? Seems unlikely but well, here I am asking

Any other ideas about what could be wrong? Maybe a wire that runs to the clock?

Thanks a bunch!

If you remove the guage bezel you'll see the screws holding the trim piece on that the clock is mounted in. If you take those out and pull that trim off i'd check the wires and connections to the clock, it's a snap-in quick disconnect that powers it.
