Adjust jdm headlights

I have read through hundreds of post and still can't figure out how to raise the jdm headlights lo beam. All they do is light up the ground. If anyone has successfully raised their cutoff lines, please help! Thanks

heres a gallery of every angle of the headlight housings. hopefully some can point out which screw/gear im suppose to turn and where they are

The leveling motor attaches to the bottom right piece pictured above.

There should be a bolt a behind that rubber piece(in your picture above the leveling motor) which attaches to the top right piece.

Screwing the top bolt in should move the beam up, you might have to do both the top right and top left so it doesn't tilt one way or the other.

I have the same lights, and I adjusted mine with no problems.... All you need is a phillips screw drvier, and level ground with a wall in front of you.... ill see if i can't put up a picture of what you need to adjust.

Does anyone know how to adjust JDM low-beam HID headlight? I figured it is somewhat different from USDM. JDM heads does not come with little plastic gear/cable which shown on the picture. So, what is proper way to adjust JDM low-beam? Thank you.

At the bottom of the picture there is a thick group of wires wrapped in black. Directly to the right of that is a weird shaped thing. I don't remember the size but I believe an Allen key fits in there.

First turn your lights on and mark their height on a wall 10 feet away. Adjust headlight. Check results. Rinse, repeat.

JDM headlights will never aim right on LHD evos no matter how much you raise or lower them, because those are RHD lights. Only way to really get them to light correctly is swapping projectors with USDM ones, but that means you have to open the headlight, and that's the reason I still haven't done it

Make sure your headlights are off while you adjust. Then turn them on to compare the change.

Yes, that's exactly it. I think it's a 6mm ratchet, not allen. Sorry about that. Hard to find in that size. Don't think you can get a socket in there, pretty sure a ratchet wrench does the trick. I remember buying piece of crap ones on ebay just for that random job. Maybe scope Harbor Freight and Craftsman.
