nice write-up
Thats a very cool little mod. (no pun intended, )

Have you been able to test it out and see how much the temp dropped?
And how is the current draw on that fan, is it minimal?

it hasn't gotten too hot here lately and just installed it this afternoon. will find out in the next few weeks. after I turned it on the temp needle dropped a few marks, not bad. I just hope that my right front tire doesn't get heat soaked

after a hot lap in the autox where temps went up to 80-85C, turning on the cooler fan lowered it to 70C in no time. wished the times went down too

connector to Spal fan
Quote: a perfect fit connector to the spal fan. I also added an inline fuse to the (+) wire.
Can't quite see the brand, part number, etc., Where did you buy this? I'm getting ready to install my fan also, just want to know about this connector, so I can do a clean install.

BTW, awesome job on this DIY thread!

Just pm'ed ya, but I got it from a regular parts store(bumper to bumper) and just stumbled on it. it is a universal connector made by motormite(?). part # should be in the pm.
