nice write-up
Thats a very cool little mod. (no pun intended,
)
Have you been able to test it out and see how much the temp dropped?
And how is the current draw on that fan, is it minimal?

awesome! what is normal operating temp as compared to after the fan install? mine never operates below 190*
it hasn't gotten too hot here lately and just installed it this afternoon. will find out in the next few weeks. after I turned it on the temp needle dropped a few marks, not bad. I just hope that my right front tire doesn't get heat soaked

Please keep us updated on this post, when you get some time to see how it works..
def. a cool mod..

tell us how it performs when the heat comes
after a hot lap in the autox where temps went up to 80-85C, turning on the cooler fan lowered it to 70C in no time.Originally Posted by N3VO

Can't quite see the brand, part number, etc., Where did you buy this? I'm getting ready to install my fan also, just want to know about this connector, so I can do a clean install.Originally Posted by sblvro
a perfect fit connector to the spal fan. I also added an inline fuse to the (+) wire.
BTW, awesome job on this DIY thread!

Just pm'ed ya, but I got it from a regular parts store(bumper to bumper) and just stumbled on it. it is a universal connector made by motormite(?). part # should be in the pm.Originally Posted by theFLASH12
