Very cool, glad you caught that I missed that,. I'll have to take a look and see what the thread is then so I can pick up some hose connectors, and then update the thread.

Another option is to leave the PCV Valve in the stock location and put a small check valve in the hose that runs from the catch can to the intake manifold.

This is the valve that I use:

After about 16 months I removed the catch cans when I was installing my new UICP. Much to my joy they have worked great and these are the results. 90% of this is from the PCV side.

10k miles and around 16 autocrosses since these were put in.

Yeah I ended up leaving the old pcv in and added another on the other side of the catch can. Eventually I'll just remove the original pcv valve but for now its suffering no ill effects having both.

Nice DIY! I applaud the work you put into it. I know it wasn't easy! Soldering is a PITA, but yours came out pretty good.
The color is pretty cool too!

*Maybe I would put some more scrubber material in because it seems a little loose and it might sag.

Thanks! One of these days I'll have to open them up fully so I can see how they look on the inside after all this time. More scrubber material would probably be good I just wasn't really sure how tight I could pack it without restricting airflow. Once I open it up I'll see how much the material has sagged and that should give a good baseline. Thanks!

Glad it helped . Technically you only need the relocated PCV (needs to be close to the Intake manifold to stop the pressure during boost from going to the catch can.) I would say its possible your factory one may be clogged or seized so its always open which would pressurize your valve cover during boost, doubt that would feel good.
