That trans noise increase is normal. Mine did the same.

damn the **** sounds crazy lol...the car performs great with these mounts but there's vibrations...does solid mount put more stress on the transmission?

I just installed the mounts as well. Did the pass first & then the drivers side. The job was a bit tougher than I thought. Had to disconnect the center motor beam as well

Im running only 3 of the mounts. Roll stop / trans & passenger side mount. Heard running the rear fire wall mount transmitted way too much NVH

Bump for posterity

Called TS who said I am supposed to use OEM hardware with install and no need to modify or use larger bolts. The ID of the sleeves being larger than OEM is not an issue per them.

For reference I have PN: TS-EV-1236

Emailed me back also:

Hello,

I recently purchased TS-EV-1236 from a dealer of yours. This is for my 05 Evolution MR 6 Speed.

I noticed the sleeves on the front and rear bushings have an ID which is much larger than the OEM mount. I did not receive any instructions for installation. I thought they were OEM replacement. Do you know if your pieces call for a larger bolt or any modification of the OEM mount?

Respectfully,

Marc

to me

The sleeve ID is slightly larger to have a little wiggle room for adjustment, as it gets really tight once all 4 mounts are installed. Once the mount is bolted down there is no issues.

Thanks.
