wiring radio help

hey guys, need little help on wiring my pioneer.
which wires do I need to put together?

I assume you have the infinity system with that plug? They wire in color to color:
Yellow to yellow- 12v Constant
Red to red- 12v Switch
Orange- you wont use as your radio doesnt have one, this is for illumination
and blue to blue/white on the radio- This turns on the infinty amp.
The others (except black) you won't use just cap or tape them off so they don't short and attach the black(ground) wire to a solid piece of metal in the dash behind the radio.

Do you have to attach the black wire to a solid piece of metal? Is the stock radio grounded by the metal brackets? If so, if you attach the metal brackets to your new radio, will the radio be grounded through the brackets?

Also to note to the above question, you should have another harness that has 4 RCAs and a blue wire, this blue wire also has to be attached to the other 2 in this picture.
