I ordered a vortex generator from Speed Element a few days ago and it's going to arrive tomorrow. I found a good thread here with a great install video but I'm not sure if I have the right double sided tape for the install. I saw 3m VHB double sided tape and was wondering if that was the right one to use. If not please let me know which is the correct one. I don't want it to fly off my roof while I'm on the highway

Surprised the VG did not come w/ the tape already installed. My poor mans EBay VG came w/ it ($30). Anyways, IMO 3M VHB should work well (VHB stands for Very High Bond in case you didnt know)
Just make sure you prep the surface properly, removing any wax before applying

I ended up using loctite double sided tape because thats all I could find locally. This stuff seems to hold super strong. Install was very simple and it only took me 15 min to install, fitment was perfect.

I picked up 3M autobody tape. It says something like superduty or heavy duty on the package. Follow the instructions on cleaning and preping and that baby wont budge.
