trimming rear quater panels for widebody

Hey does any1 have pics of how far up they trimmed their quaters to fit the widebody? I know I saw them awhile ago just can't find them.

im guessing this is for the voltex rear widebody? you need to trim high enough to make sure it doesnt rub when taking hard corners, pretty much trim up as high as you can, but save about an inch or two so the overfenders have enough panel left to attach to. There are 2 seperate panels that meet and make your fender, when you cut them, you will have 2 pieces and a gap that goes into the trunk, you need to seal this by either welding them together or finding someway to seal them back up as one. search : Grimrpr9's Build on here and you can see his fender work. or search the thread : VOLTEX rear arches?

Thanks ill search him out. Im going with the doluck blister fenders I feel like to many people are using the voltex kit these days
