After reading this great write up. I don't see any real feedback on S2000 Coils? I have an S2000 and have an extra set of coils I could use for this. Has anyone used S2000 coils and can give me feedback? Possibly also what I need exactly.

I made a kit for a friend with S2000 coils. They use the same wiring schematic as the civic coils on the first page. They're just really tall.

If anyone is having trouble finding the mating connector for the Honda coils I just got some from usedpartsonline on eBay. They got me 8 for $35 shipped! Now I'm just waiting on my carbon fiber sheet to come in and I can finish up my kit. I ordered the 06 RSX coil brand new from rockauto.com. I think they were only $40 a piece for brand new Denso coils. So about $200 in parts for a brand new setup! The Honda coils will not fit under the cover.

They work great, and car runs good, but the stock cover won't go back on.

I'm going to try with these 4g69 coils,they have 3 pins like the RSX coils.

Don't expect to use the RSX connector, it's shaped different than that. If you have the mating ones then never mind .

I have read through the entire thread and not found anyone stating the actual dimensions of the coils. I have a caterham with a Honda Blackbird motorcycle engine with very tight plug wells.
I want to use coil onplug on it and the Honda coilonplug appears to be slim enough. I would appreciate if somenoe could post the length and diameter of the tube that goes down to the plug.

Still need to drill holes for the COPs themselves and clean up the wiring, but otherwise it's done!
