How to fix up your center caps
How to fix up your center caps
Figured I'd share this, not sure if it has really happened to anyone else but I would assume it has and honestly, if you're as frugal as me with plenty of time to spare then this applies to you!
First thing I did was pop the caps out, I had to do my brakes before hand so it was much easier for me to pop them out with the wheels off.
This is how they all looked beforehand.

Had some spare 3M 320 Grit fine Sandpaper that I used to clean them up.

Went to Wal-Mart and bout a bottle of spray paint, not sure if this exact type works best with plastic, but it was the closest color match I could find, actually ending up being perfect when I popped them back in.
Was also the only money I ended up spending for this whole little project $4.

Laid them down on some paper and started doing some quick even sprays on them, gave an hour or so to dry and re-applied a few more coats for extra measure.

Lastly an optional step, completely preference, decided to paint the logos black since I had some spare paint laying around, just took a brush and took my time trying to be as precise as I could be.

Add some clear coat for some extra protection and help prevent what previously happened hopefully less sooner.
After I put them back in, I have to say that's I'm honestly very satisfied and pleased with the results of my work!
(Yes I know I have to repaint my calipers, that's on the to do list lol)
