Question AMS TBE install on Evo 8 Question

Hey all,

I put on my new AMS TBE yesterday, and the kit came with a 1 foot length of black silicone vacuum line. There weren't any lines to replace near the downpipe, so I'm wondering if I need to use this piece and where it's supposed to go.

Sorry if this has been answered before, a evom search and google search did not bring up this line as part of anyone's install procedures. Also, there is no install guide available on AMS's website.

I appreciate your help!

It must have been included by accident. I didn't get anything but the exhaust and gaskets when they sent mine. Also there are no lines to replace with the exhaust haha

Thanks for confirming. I thought it was an unnecessary part for the install, but I'm always skeptical when there are parts leftover
