Clean Stubborn Water Marks On Rim

I plastidipped my wheels because of the horrible looking polished lips on my RO_JA rims. I tried all kinds of polishing compounds and nothing worked very well. So I had forgotten why I platidipped them and I took it off the lip and now I remembered why. Anyhow, I heard of using steel wool to get out the watermarks and some pitting. Check it out! I hope it helps you.

DON'T DO THIS ON ALUMINUM! I'VE BEEN TOLD IT DULLS THE FINISH.

Ugly lip

Use 00 or 000 steel wool

Much better!

Use medium pressure to polish off the lip!

A friend of mine has polished aluminum wheels. Unfortunately, he can confirm that it dulls and scratches the finish....very....very...badly...
