I've read many post talking about the modded walbro 255, that it is easy to do, but how do you do it?

Here you go. Push the plug down about the depth of a penny, not all the way down. This way you don't shorten the life of your pump, it's good to have a little bit of give just in case the lines/injectors become blocked.
