water temp probe location
so i ordered a stri water temp gauge, no flame please because i got a water temp gauges, however my question is, is there a 1/8 NPT fitting on the head to run the sensor probe? I dont like the t-stat idea because you can only read it after it opens and the inline sensor with the upper radiator hose is tacky. any help would be much appreciated.

First of all, there's absolutely nothing wrong or "ricer" about getting a water temp gauge.
Anyone who says otherwise is full of **** and doesn't know their head from their ***
Now, personally, for a cleaner install I would get a bung welded onto your T-stat housing and just place the sensor there. There is no OEM location for the gauge otherwise.
Your only other option after that would be to install the tacky sensor adapter, but put it on the lower hose as close to the water pipe as possible to monitor the temperature of water going INTO your engine. This will at least give you an idea of the cooling system's performance compared to the OBD temp sender's data. But that's just me
