Turbo Install question

I am getting ready to install an FP white 71HTA turbo into a 2003 Evo 8 and was looking for advice/encouragement.

I've reviewed the other threads and watched boostedfilms excellent video: https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/ev...all-video.html

so here are my questions:
-How long will a simple swap take with removal of the radiator (on average). I dont have a lift, just ramps. (I am assuming 5 hours to account for frozen bolts and the occasional beer brake)
-I'm nervous about taking off the intake manifold being this car is over 10 years old. I'll use pb blaster and let it soak overnight. I've heard people recommend using heat but am unsure how (I assume blowtorch?)
-which gaskets should I replace? any good source to order online?

I've replaced smaller items like the injectors, fuel pump, and brakes. Is the turbo that much harder?

much appreciated

Why are you removibg the intake manifold to inatall the turbo? Did you mean the exhaust manifold?
The first time I pulled the turbo on this car it took less then an hour because the turbo is in front of the motor its so easy.

Sorry I did mean exhaust mani.

I'd pay $150 to anyone in SoCal that would help me install the turbo and licp.

It isn't as hard as you're making it out to be. Drop the oil and coolant, drop the downpipe, pull the rad. PB blaster or heat works well, be prepared to possibly break a stud or bolt if you try to turn them too fast. Break all the nuts and bolts from the mani to turbo, and o2 housing to turbo while it is on the car. Put them snug again, remove the nuts from mani to head and pull it out as one unit.
